When I think about all the wine producing countries in the world, I truly believe that Italy offers the most diversity. I think that just about any palate, bubbly, red, white, rose, sweet, dessert wines, dry wines, wine cellar wines, Italy offers it all. Sadly, many people when they hear me suggest Italian wine, they shudder at the suggestion as they falsely believe that Italy only produces Chianti and Pinot Grigio. They couldn’t be more incorrect!. From north to south to east to west to central, Italy has so many different terroirs and grape varietals that I can’t imagine any palate in the world, couldn’t find something that matches their budget and flavor profile of wine. Hopefully this VLOG will encourage you to be a little more adventurous and try some wines from Italy because to me it is the best wine producing country in the world!
