Don’t write the nasty comments.. this is my OPINION and My ADVICE. There are many other Opinions and Viewpoints. I have been to Burgundy France, All of California Areas such as Russian River, Carneros, Central Coast, Santa Barbara. I have tasted almost every single Pinot: Blanc, Gris And Especially Noir from Alsace, New Zealand, California, Italy, Burgundy, Argentina, Chile… and again my opinion hasn’t changed one bit. Drink any wine that starts with the word PINOT especially PINOT NOIR from OREGON ONLY. I am not alone on this Island as many of the greatest reviewers and Sommeliers and yes..even some Burgundy Winemakers believe that Oregon is the best Quality To Price Ratio for this grape ..and they are from Burgundy!! Try some from a great vintage and you might see why I am and always have been an Oregon PINOTPHILE….
Grape-fully yours, Larry
Interesting Larry. I need to try PNs from Oregon then, since I am already quite happy with the French and Kiwi ones I’ve tried. They’re hard to find in France though 😦
Thanks Juan. I of course am happy with the French and Kiwi ones as well however overall when it comes to quality versus cost ratio and ready to drink ratio Oregon has the edge. Cheers
