Most retailers and restaurant wine lists carry either very little or literally none of the wines from Greece. Somewhere some consumer had a petrol tasting Retsina and they pegged the entire country of Greece as low quality wines. In fact, they are some of the greatest and food friendly wines in the world. We have a very modest selection where I currently work at ABC Fine Wine & Spirits but probably double the amount that your local retailer carries. That’s a shame.
