So many consumers are afraid of French Wine because the labels don’t tell you the names of the grape varietals on the label in most regions but instead they are labeled by the region and the village in that region. Yet with all that fear, the average consumer when asking for Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, doesn’t realize that they are speaking French and drinking wines made all over the world with those grapes they love to ask for but ALL Originated in France and still do. I hope this helps you get over that hesitancy to buy French Wines and instead of asking for a Pinot Noir Or Chardonnay, you might go and ask for a Red Or White Burgundy because now you will know, that’s the GRAPES that are in that region of France.
Grape-fully yours, Larry
