Constantly about 99% of consumers looking for a white wine especially from Italy ask for a Pinot Grigio. Italians have so many wonderful diverse white wines and yet in Italy very few drink Pinot Grigio. For the most part, with few exceptions they are boring and not complex. Pinot Gris (Gree) is the original name of the grape and is the same grape pronounced in Italian Pinot Grigio. Before you Diss Pinot Grigio because you are bored with it like me, try a great Italian one and also other countries especially Alsace, France and Oregon in the States with their expression and totally different style of the grape Pinot Gris.
Grape-fully yours, Larry
