A Wine For Dog Lovers From WashingTon State

As best friends go, a good dog is tough to beat — like Blue, mascot of Roaming Dog Wines and official squirrel chaser of the vineyard. Seems like just the other day a couple of the field hands spied this scruffy old hound traipsing among the vines, with his tail on high-wag and an expression that said, “I’m home.” And indeed, he’s had the run of the place ever since.

So when they needed a name for their wine, Roaming Dog just seemed to fit. Like Blue, Roaming Dog Wines are the perfect companion, whether it’s a weekend brunch, your next tailgater, or simply chilling after a long day. Crafted exclusively with grapes from Washington’s panoramic Columbia Valley AVA, they’re easy going with just the right notes of fruit and oak.

If you’re ever out thier way, please say howdy to Blue. He’ll be the one with the thumping tail and wagging tongue — a tongue the winery is pretty sure knows the difference between a Cab and a Merlot.

$1.00 from the sale of any Roaming Dog Wines is sent to the ASPCA

Winemaker Joshua Maloney has been associated with wineries like stag’s leap wine cellars , chateau st Michelle and Milbrandt. He’s a talented guy to be the consulting winemaker at Roaming Dog who also makes Chasing Rain wines

The 2018 Cab has 88 %Cabernet Sauvignon , 11% Malbec and 1% Merlot. It spends a total of 18 months in tanks and Oak Barrels.

The wine is only $13.99 retail. Dark Purple hues aromas of black Cherry , blueberry and mocha. A rich palate with very silky ripe tannins and juicy fruit with a toasted oak and chocolate finish. For the price it’s hard to beat this quality. Captain Washington Approve 92Point!!

So many wines in the same price range five or take 2 cents or less than commercial brands in the same category it’s difficult for me to imagine not choosing this wine that most people that have tasted it guess $69.99 . This is no brainer Cabernet Sauvignon of high quality and very affordable pricing that you won’t be able to match out or quality ! Check it out. Cheers !

Gratefully Yours ,
